Meteor Garden Philippine Remake: Brat Boys Beyond
The Hana Yori Dango craze is spreading like wildfire in Asia. Aired in 2001, “Meteor Garden” was the first TV adaptation of the Hana Yori Dango manga. It became an instant hit all over Asia especially in the Philippines. And due to its "outrageous popularity" in the country, it has been aired again and again in different local TV stations since 2003. F4's 'Meteor Garden' can be described as a classic in many people's hearts. Now, the phenomenal and most loved romantic comedy drama, Meteor Garden, will finally have a Filipino Version.
ABS-CBN, one of the country's leading broadcasting network, bags the right of Meteor Garden remake. Philippines was the 5th country to do a remake of the hit teen-drama, next to Korea and China. Sarah Geronimo is now confirmed to portray as a brave simple girl San Chai. The Meteor Garden Philippine Remake was said to air on 2011.

No offense din, pero bakit si Sarah Geronimo ang napili nyo. Hindi ko makita ang kilig factor kapag si Sarah. Huwag din si Kathryn Bernardo dahil obviously hindi magagawa ng maganda ang kilig kapag bawal ang kissing scene. Dapat yung ready sa kissing scene, kim chiu already got the part of My Girl, so were done with her style of acting. Find other fresh NEW TALENT who is ready for the catch of the eye ng tao yung hindi kilalang girl. Let other Girls shine in their own charm. Like Jane Orteza ba yun ng bulilit, hindi pansinin ang beauty pero she can act well, or si?? haiz.. daming talent pero paulit-ulit lang yung mga ipinapakita.

i agree na suitable ang looks ni Kathryn Bernardo para sa filipino version ng hana yori dango. Filipina dapat at commoner ang dating...pwede rin yung ibang kasabayan niya sa goin bulilit...
mas ayos kung Filipino looks kasi 'filipino version' nga siya in the first place at di look alike mg mga f4 ng taiwan, japan, korea or china
ayos lang din kung college students sila (tulad ng s meteor garden) to show the depth of the story and mukhang mas bagay i-portray ang mga scenes na based from the manga...considering our filipino culture...syempre may mga parts na maiiba kasi 'this is a filipino version' na sana hindi nalalayo mismo sa story)
saka kung may remake man sana pagbuhusan ng panahon. kaya ayos lang kung abutin ng taon or 2 years ang preparation para di masayang ang production..and take note, sa dami ng version dapat lang na maging world class ang dating nito to show how great Filipinos are sa paggawa ng quality tv series.. (syempre may possibility na panoorin din ang version na ito sa ibang countries at maikumpara sa ibang version..so why not carefully focus on the details kaysa i-rush di ba?)
during preparation if Kathryn or kung sino man ang mga lead actors na same age....nag level up na ang maturity for acting hence bagay na for college setting..
sana i-consider din ang pagpili ng magandang location..this can promote tourism..

I am a Meteor Garden Fanatic since 10 years ago and until now! I feel like 10 years younger because it's aired again on ABS-CBN. The Meteor Garden F4 are still cuties btw. Cheers! :)
